About Me
Ever since I was a teenager, my work has focused on expanding opportunity and creating the conditions for people to become the fullest expression of themselves. This work has spanned education and economic development, health and human services and the arts, all through a social justice lens.
Over the course of my career, I’ve (co) founded four non-profits, most recently serving as the Founder and President of the California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI) where I spent 13 years driving systemic change at scale in California’s public schools.
I’ve helped philanthropic clients to identify where their investments can advance the work of both direct service and policy focused organizations, and nurture the development of networks to move the needle on issues they care about.
